Deaf education began in Mali in the 1990s, so it is still in its infancy. Three schools have been started in the city of Bamako. Very few deaf persons are educated. Those who are were not born deaf. There are no skill training centers in Mali for the deaf. There are no religious services of any kind available to the Deaf in sign language.

Training of Deaf Egyptians is happened until Aug. 17. "We are asking our Father to prepare our hearts and minds for next assignment as we will be in another African country to help train Deaf followers to tell His Story in their own sign language. We ask you to ask our Father for safe travels and good health while being in another country. Ask that we will be able to clearly communicate with, and be encouragement in the Deaf follower we meet.
